THE FILMMAKERS CALENDAR

Hello, and Hola,

The title reads THE FILMMAKERS CALANDER for a reason! Because as an indie filmmaker, my perception of time is different from that of society. In my world, I am 4 (3/4) films old. Yes, that's right. There is no year, age, ethnicity, or any other rubbish. I've made four films and am a 3/4 of the way through on my next film, PERIOD! film is FOOD, WATER, and LIFE!
Now, get a LIFE, go finish your film and GROW UP! Bye, adios! Oh, by the way. Below are two excerpts of my third film, THE DIVORCE CEREMONY starring the gorgeous Appolonia Kotero and yours truly:) love, amor, jd

Guess what I got for Christmas. The DRIVE and DESIRE to FINISH my film and SELL it, and make ANOTHER one!!! I was so darn broke this Holiday season, and it really hit home, I must sell my films! YOU too, must sell your film! Now, I pass the GIFT to you! I'll go finish my film and sell it for the big bucks, and you'll do the same! Then you send me a percentage for being your inspiration. Ya right, I know how you are! Just Keeding. Scram, go work! By the way here is another clip from my first film PAN DULCE!

It's just "Another Day!"

Whatever! It's NOT just "Another Day!" By the way, that's the title to one of my favorite Paul McCartney tunes. Back to the subject at hand. It's not just "Another Day," because anytime you're in a film project, it's a SPECIAL day! We're working in an arena most good folks all over the globe only dream of pursuing. So, if that doesn't butter your toast then go get a bland rice cake! Whatever that means, get back to finishing your FILM! Shoo, scat, get out of here, until tomorrow of course! Ciao!

30 seconds = 4 hours

That's right! That's about, more or less, how long it will take to edit 30 seconds of your movie. So, don't lose hope. As I've said in the past, It's a marathon you FREAKS! I say that with much love and affection, of course. You don't care, cause your to busy trying to finish you're film.
By the way, on a side note: If your gonna BLOG, "BLOGGG!" Don't tease the masses whom want to read your insights! Well okay, maybe the one or two readers who stumble onto your sight! In any event, what I'm trying to say is I'm sorry for the lapse in my own BLOG! I'm sorry, okay, I said it! I gotta go edit!!! Bye...:)jd
